I spent a lovely weekend in Anglesea, along the Great Ocean Road. It was a perfectly understated, cosy weekend with four of my favourite people, a beautiful house with multiple balconies (!!), and lots of good food and good wine. This morning I walked down to the beach, and took in this bit of the ocean. I’d been there for two days and hadn’t gone down to the water yet, and it took my breath away that it had been there, behind those trees, all that time, and will continue to be there whenever I want to come back.
